About Daniel
M. Daniel Anthony (or “Daniel” to friends and clients) has served his beloved state of Florida, as well as his country, his entire adult life.
After graduating college, Daniel attended and graduated from Naval Officer Candidate School in Newport, Rhode Island, commissioning as a Surface Warfare Officer in the United States Navy. He served aboard USS RAMAGE (DDG-61) as Communications Officer and USS KEARSARGE (LHD-3) as Main Propulsion Officer. During his time at sea, Daniel deployed to the Persian Gulf in support of Operation Inherent Resolve, and to Puerto Rico and the Virgin Islands in support of humanitarian missions following the destruction of Hurricanes Irma and Maria.

Daniel then left active duty and attended law school. He received his law degree from the University of Florida in 2022, where he graduated cum laude. During his final year in law school Daniel served as a certified legal intern with the Ninth Judicial Circuit in Osceola County as state prosecutor. Upon graduation, Daniel clerked for the Honorable John MacIver at Florida’s Fifth District Court of Appeal in Daytona Beach.

Daniel then recommissioned in the United States Air Force, where he served as a Judge Advocate (JAG), representing the United States Government as the Chief of Legal Assistance, Chief of Military Justice, and Chief of Operations Law, at the Office of the Staff Judge Advocate, Space Launch Delta 45, Patrick Space Force Base, Florida. In his role as Chief of Legal Assistance, Daniel assisted more than 16,000 military members—active duty, reserve, and retired—and their dependents with wills, legal questions, and legal support in a variety of areas. As Chief of Military Justice, Daniel worked with federal law enforcement to pursue the prosecution, punishment, and discharge of hundreds of service members found guilty of wrongdoing. As the Chief of Operations Law, Daniel completed the legal reviews of complex agreements between private industry and the federal government to ensure Florida’s sustained lead in the modern space race.

During this time, Daniel also deployed to Guantanamo Bay, Cuba, in support of Operation Enduring Freedom. There, he served as Chief of Military Justice, overseeing prosecution for misconduct committed by the Soldiers, Sailors, Airmen, and Marines stationed at Joint Task Force-Guantanamo.

Throughout his various adventures around the country and the world, one theme has remained constant in Daniel’s life: service. Service to the United States of America. Service to the great state of Florida. Now, he is bringing that same selfless ambition to you as his client. He is excited to serve you and your business’s needs.

Daniel is licensed to practice before the Supreme Court of Florida.
He is married to the former Karen Hoshino. They have three children: Luke, Ash, and Selena.
